Abisinuola (pronounced Abi-sin-you-ola) earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University, where her passion for the field deepened. Her mission is to help clients gain awareness of their past, navigate their present, and plant seeds of hope for their future. Currently, she is an LPC Associate under the supervision of Dr. Andrea T. Johnson, LPC-S. Abisinuola has had the privilege of working with individuals, groups, and families, and she looks forward to continuing this meaningful work with future clients.
As your therapist, Abisinuola joins her clients in compassionately exploring various aspects of themselves, their values, identities and relational dynamics. She is dedicated to supporting men, women, and families navigating intergenerational trauma, anxiety, self-esteem issues, unhealthy family dynamics, and life transitions. Sometimes sessions may include laughter and tears, but your story will always be treated with respect and care. Together we will sit with difficult emotions, and challenge unhelpful thought patterns while building skills to work toward your goals. Outside of counseling, she enjoys event planning, fellowshipping with friends, watching movies, and crafting.
